Smartbirth Mission
Statement
It is the mission of Smartbirth to assist expectant women world wide to discover their full, personal intelligence, intuition with know-how during pregnancy, birth, and the post partum period.
All women instinctually know how to birth. It has been masked my medical technology, and social peer pressure. Women have extraordinary innate skills tat are often ignored, not encouraged to tap into, or use.
Many women are not aware of, or utilize these skills and Smartbirth's goal is to shift thinking about childbirth from fear to acceptance, self-reliance and resourcefulness. The foundation of learning is in these four main areas:
- physiology
- stress management
- birth mindset
- relaxation
Smartbirth believes focusing on these areas will enhance pregnancy, labor, birth and the post partum experience. Medical interventions and medications are not focused on. Instead Smartbirth focuses on the "you factor".
